The one who asks the question controls the agenda. Before answering a question, we should discern why it is being asked.

What may seem to some to be an honest question may, in reality, be a ruse of the enemy to cast doubt on the truth and to destabilize our faith.

When Jesus answered such questions it usually was done in a way that with an honest answer even if a parable, exposed if the question was honest or dishonest.
