Pope Francis Condemns "too much keeping of the Ten Commandments."
« on: February 12, 2017, 11:15:16 PM »
This from Hal Mayer's "Prophetic Intelligence Briefing":
In order to defend himself after being criticized for giving communion to an unmarried couple living together as man and wife, Pope Francis accused some Christians of having too much concern for the Ten Commandments, saying that they suffer from "cowardlines," and warning that such people become paralyzed and unable to go forward.

"Obeying all of the Commandments, all of them..." said the pope, negatively characterizing the thinking of such Christians "paralyzes you too." It makes you forget so many graces received, it takes away memory, i takes away hope because it doesn't allow you to go forward." Such people become confined souls who suffer from the sin of cowardice," the pope added.

In other words, keeping the Ten Commandments prevents progress, and if you want to have hope, you should not keep the Ten Commandments.

I doubt that this is simply about being criticized. The world takes notice of everything this pope writes or says.  It seems as though he is is creating a negative mind set towards commandment keepers. I suspect that there are very few Christian denominations, if any,  other than Adventists that teach that the Ten Commandments are binding on Chiristians. I have no doubt that Francis is well aware of that.

The pope is getting criticized by Catholics for those statements. One person said he is not making sense. Another said it appears he is revealing more than he realizes.

My theory is that the Pope is a Marxist and doesn't even believe in God. The fact that he is from South America where many Jesuits and other priests were heavily involved in Liberation Theology. If I recall correctly Malachi Martin wrote that a majority of Jesuits were Marxists. That was problematic for John Paul II who came from Communist Poland and helped engineer the falling apart of the Soviet Union.

It is certainly an interesting time we live in.

"One person said he is not making sense. Another said it appears he is revealing more than he realizes."
At least there are still some people that can listen to what he says with a critical ear.

A rational person would conclude that the pope is advocating for anarchy.  But we know, of course, that he expects everyone to obey without question the dictates of the Catholic Church. Those are the only commandments which matter to him.

One wonders what goes on in the minds of those who think like him.  What possible objection could he have to "thou shalt not kill," or "thou shalt not steal?"
