Quote
Jim Howard is currently serving as Senior Pastor of two churches in Southeast Michigan—Detroit Metropolitan Seventh-day Adventist Church and New Beginnings Seventh-day Adventist Church. He serves as the District Superintendent in the Detroit area as well as serving on the Training Center Church (TCC) committee of the Michigan Conference. His special burden is to see a revival of personal soul-winning labor by not only pastors, but everyone who claims to be a disciple of Christ. Jim and his wife, Sonya, have two beautiful daughters, Kayla and Lindsey.

Quote
   Every soul in every Conference, in every part of the Lord's vineyard, has the privilege of knowing the truth. But truth is not truth to those who do not practice it. Truth is only truth to you when you live it in the daily life, showing the world what those people must be who are at last saved.  {GCB, April 3, 1901 par. 10}

Quote
There are those to whom the truth is not truth. The work of the Redeemer exerts no restoring influence upon their lives. The will of God is not obeyed. The countless mercies and blessings bestowed on them are received as a matter of course. What is the matter? They do not obey the injunction, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind."  {ST, September 12, 1900 par. 9}

     "Wherefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance."  {1888 1744.3}

Dr C Raymond Holmes- an even more experienced SDA Pastor - gives messages to reinforce this   https://www.audioverse.org/english/sermons/presenters/318/c-raymond-holmes.html

How to publically give a message and exhort, persuade, appeal, set up bridges for visitation ( in other words )  How to preach .

Grateful for Psalms 32 and Titus 2:10 While it is true that God gives the message from Scripture and SOP. The taste I give to others about the message sells it or kills it, I learn to walk it well & cook it well & eat it myself, before I preach it.  Then the SDA message appeals by His righteousness.
