Hi, A customer of mine gave me the link (to) your blogspot, and suggested I request the book. Thank you in advance. Junior [address]Kentucky
Hello, I received "The Great Controversy" book in the mail yesterday. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I can hardly wait to get started reading it. God bless you. Junior
Hi Vicki, All I can say is, WOW!. What a great book you sent me! What information! I can hardly wait to begin reading each evening. As soon as I'm able, I'm gonna order one so my wife and I can study this together. Thank you so much, and God bless. Jr.
Dear Vicki, By all means, go ahead. But I would like to send a donation for it. I really do appreciate your kindness. What a great book. And the chapter, "Liberty of Conscience Threatened" is right on the money. Thank you so much, and God bless. Junior
Hi Vicki, It sure has been, and is a blessing. As a matter of fact, I was planning on writing you to let you know this past Saturday we attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church located in the ajoining county. Unbeknownst to us, they were having a pot-luck fellowship meal after services, and we had a great time. Thanks again so very much, we are continuing to read and study. If you'd like, I'll keep you posted. Have a pleasant day, and God bless. Jr.
I want to share a testimony about something that happened lately...About four years ago I was invited to join a private, non-Adventist forum (in blog format) to discuss end-time events. I joined it with the intention of being a witness, but when I revealed that I was a Seventh-day Adventist, the other members wouldn't listen to much I had to say. Wondering how I could witness to these people, I started my own blog. (It only took about 20 minutes.) The only thing it said was that I was offering a free book--a "Great Controversy," and gave a little description about it. Then when I would post something on the end-time events forum, anyone clicking on my name would be directed to my blog.I did get one request for a free GC pretty quickly, but I don't know if the lady ever read it. She stopped posting on the forum and I lost touch with her. Over the years I thought of quitting the forum because I didn't seem to be making any headway on it and had no more free book requests, but I thought no one would see my blog if I didn't post on the forum. There are thousands of blogs out there. Then in early August I got an email:I immediately sent him a "Great Controversy."A week later I got this email:Another week went by...:I offered to send his wife another free one and he emailed back:I sent them another GC (free, of course), but didn't hear back. Not wanting to sound pushy or nosy, I almost chickened out of emailing him, but I remembered something I had read that said a person should follow up on things like this, so yesterday (Oct. 4) I wrote to tell Junior I was thinking of him and his wife, and wondered if she was blessed by the GC. Later that day I got this email:I had never told Junior I was an Adventist, so he tracked it down himself. Do you think I've been floating on air ever since??!! It just goes to show that God can bless our efforts, no matter how seemingly small and insignificant. Please keep Junior and his wife on your prayer list! Thank you!
Hi Vicki, Just a short to let you know that my wife and I have temporary custody of our grandsons until their dad gets back from South Korea. He had to go back to close up some things so he can be discharged honorably. The judge at the hearing made no bones about his decision. He even claimed that their mother keeping our oldest out of school was a terrible case of child neglect and abuse.Their mother and her boyfriend had to meet with us and 3 social workers. It was then that the results of their drug tests (which were anything but voluntary) were made known. Not only were they using marijuana and assorted pain pills, they were also involved with heroin, and in a big way. Their mother even admitted using it just the day before. No sorrow was evident, she even claimed it's influence made her a better mother. It's so sad what drugs can do to people. If someone had told us this would have happened 4 years ago, we would have laughed in their faces. The boyfriend even had a violent outburst during the meeting, justifying what us and others had told the judge and the social workers concerning what the boys had been through. But anyway, the boys are healthy, happy, safe, and are starting to become kids once again. And what a relief both sides of the family now feel.We give our dear Lord all the credit, praise, and glory for all this. Thank you and all others who remembered us in prayer. God bless you all real good.In Christian love,Jr.
