Is Righteousness By Faith-- "Faith Alone" or "A Faith That Works?"

Dr. Leo Van Dolson Jr. has written an article published on the  ADVINDICATE website that addresses & clarifies this issue: “FAITH ALONE: A DEEPER STUDY."
<https://advindicate.com/articles/2018/12/13/faith-alone-a-deeper-study (https://advindicate.com/articles/2018/12/13/faith-alone-a-deeper-study)>

Van Dolson states:
"... I have encountered many who have aggressively resisted the Biblical message of salvation by a “working faith,” serving God “faithfully,” or “faith that works.”   They have vehemently defended the “faith that is alone” belief in a variety of ways.
The following questions and answers relating to this debate reflect information I have gleaned from various encounters with vigorous apologists for the “faith alone” movement, as well as my personal study."

[Note:Here is a list of the questions Van Dolson asks & answers from the Bible & S.O.P. This is a very comprehensive study & a vital salvation issue! Many SDA's and others will be lost because they accepted a false theology concerning righteousness by faith!]

1.     Is the term “faith alone” ever used in Scripture or by Ellen White?

2.    What does “faith alone” mean?  [In this section he addresses Synergism, Cooperation Theology, Concordant Behavior, and Monergism]

3.    If “faith alone” saves us, do we ever need to obey?

4.    Does “faith alone” do away with the law?

5.    A Twist of Faith:  Is there a difference between righteousness by faith and salvation by faith alone?

6.    Since “salvation by faith that is alone” is incorrect, why are so many enthusiastically endorsing this point of view?

7.    We all know that there is no merit in works.  Is there merit in faith?

8.    The false binary choice:  Are “faith alone” and salvation by works (legalism) the only options?  Do we have to choose between one or the other?

9.    Can we overcome sin?

10.  What “works”?    (What are the works of faith?  How does Faith Work?)

11.  Do Works Need a “Faith Lift”?    Is it all about attitude?

12.  What difference does it make?  Is this a distinction without a difference?  Is this just an intellectual debate?  Is it really this complicated?

13.  What happened to Jones and Waggoner?

14.  Personal Note:

15.  Are we justified by faith alone?

16. What must I do to be saved?
