Consider the good success rate of Scripture songs across the centuries.

Exodus 15:1  Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

Exodus 15:2  The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my fatherís God, and I will exalt him.

Numbers 21:17  Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:

Deuteronomy 31:19  Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy 31:21  And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.

Deuteronomy 31:22  Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy 31:30  And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.

Deuteronomy 32:44  And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.

Judges 5:12  Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.

Look up simple Scripture songs and as far as Sabbath School kids songs I will ask my wife what she remembers from childhood.  Also in SOP look up "study chapter*"   "commit to memory"  or memorize, then see if songs exist that put those Bible passages and chapters into song.    Singing hangs a long time in memory, singing Scripture seems to also hang a long time in the memory.      Start singing them in family worship and blend them into Sabbath School, weave the two together.
